Experienced Arborist

The Tree Company Pty Ltd is an established Arboricultural Services provider based in inner eastern Melbourne.

Over the past 10 years we have built a strong reputation based on the quality of our work and our friendly, personalised approach.

We currently have a full-time positon available for a qulaified and experienced arborist.

This a great opportunity to join a friendly team of committed professionals.

Qualifications

Minimum requirement of Certificate III in arboriculture or equivalent.

Level 2 First Aid certificate and medium rigid truck license preferred but not essential.

Experience

Minimum 3-5 years experience as a practising arborist with a professional arboricultural company.

Some experience with quoting would be an advantage.

Requirements

A strong work ethic, reliability, good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Skilled Ground Crew

The Tree Company has a number of part-time and full-time positions available for skilled ground crew. This is a great opportunity to join an established, respected arboricultural services business. 

Experience

Previous experience on the ground crew with a professional arboricultural services business is required. Some horticultural knowledge is also required. 

Certificates

Medium rigid truck license, chainsaw competency certificate and first-aid level two preferred but not essential.

Requirements

We are seeking a friendly team player with good interpersonal skills. 

Pay rate and terms and conditions of employment are negotiable and will be based on skills and experience.

Apprentice Arborist

The Tree Company requires a full-time apprentice arborist.

The Tree Company in conjunction with an educational institution such as NMIT, Burnley or Gecko will give the successful applicant the opportunity to complete Certificate II, III or IV in horticulture (arboriculture).

This is a fantastic opportunity for an aspiring arborist to learn the profession, establish a strong foothold in the industry and earn a reputable qualification.

This is full-time position with a minimum of 36 hours per week. Pay will be commensurate with age and experience.

Skill Development

Comprehensive, on-going training in all areas of the profession will be provided in a friendly, supportive working environment.

Requirements

A strong work ethic, a desire to learn and the ability to work as part of a team are essential.

Certificates

Chainsaw and first aid certificates and medium rigid license preferred but not essential.
