We are among the most respected tree service providers in Melbourne, operating out of two depots (Surrey Hills and Preston).  We now employ over 50 passionate staff and currenlty operate 12 truck and chippers, 3 elevated work platforms, 8 utilities, 6 stump grinders, tree planting, watering and plant health care equipment. Tom Aldous

Tom completed his Advanced Diploma in Horticulture/Arboriculture at the University of Melbourne's Burnley Campus and spent 4 years working with respected arborists in Melbourne and London. In 2000 Tom founded The Tree Company which, over the past 20 years, has grown from small beginnings to its current stable client base including 8 local councils, golf courses, corporate companies, schools, landscapers and residential customers.

Carl Dalla Riva

In 2013, Carl Dalla Riva joined The Tree Company in the role of Operations Manager and Consulting Arborist. Carl became Director in 2018 and is a qualified and respected Arborist with many years industry experience with local council and private sectors. Carl brings a wealth of knowledge and understanding to our organisation, particularly in the administration and management of key clients.

Occupational Health and Safety

The Tree Company has a steadfast commitment to client and employee safety. We strive to provide workplace environments free from hazards and risks to the health and safety of our staff, contractors, clients, and the general public. To achieve this goal we have developed and implemented our own industry approved comprehensive OH&S system.

To ensure our OH&S policies remain effective and relevant, they are reviewed regularly and amended as necessary to incorporate any changes in work procedures and health and safety legislation.

The Tree Company takes a proactive approach to all matters relating to the safety of our staff, the public and the environment.  We are continually improving our systems, training, equipment and work methods.  The Tree Company is constantly striving to eliminate all injury and occupational illness from the workplace. We aim to provide the safest plant and equipment for our people to work with.  We have dedicated resources for the continual development, monitoring and regular review of our OHS management systems.
